NO MEMORIES. NO MERCY. Stratus wakes alone, with no memory of his past. All he knows is his name and that he is not human. Possessing immense strength, powerful sorcery and an insatiable hunger, he sets out across a world blighted by dark magic. Hunted by relentless enemies, Stratus must learn who – and what – he truly is, or risk plunging the world into ruin...

Mark De Jager is a new name in Fantasy, and if all his upcoming books are as good as ‘Infernal‘ he’ll be making a name for himself. ‘Infernal‘ is a good start!

The story is well build, it has good modern twists even though the story itself is more classic. The characters are believable (in a fantasy kinda way off course). Fans of the fantasy genre,  should get their hands on this book. They’ll enjoy it and will look forward to the next episode in this series (which it most likely will be).

*** I’m happy the publisher decided to give this book new cover, the old one was simply terrible.***
